Suggested aquarium sizes are minimum for adult full grown fishes. Reef safe or Reef w/caution depends much on the type of other animals that are housed in the tank (like shrimps etc). It is also important to collect information of other facts before selecting fishes such as: which fish can be housed together, is it better to have one, a pair or a school of a species in the same tank? Should a fish be fed once a week, daily and how many times a day? What type of food? Which fish is hardy and easy to keep or what fish should be avoided? Much information of this sort can be found on the internet however much misinformation is also there. A good book is well worth the money spent by possibly saving a lot of money and aggravation later.
